REFRESHER REGISTRATION INFORMATION - PLEASE REVIEW AND ACT

atrollers:  Please read carefully to ensure you complete all the tasks needed to be refreshed before our season opens. These refreshers are mandatory to patrol at Cascade (for the patrollers that just passed OEC in July, you have a different schedule than listed below and Jenni and Tara have already reached out to you).

 Chair Evac Refresher - Saturday, October 14th

• Registration due no later than September 30th
• Register on Homebase - sign up for one of the sessions (7:45am, 9:45am, or 11:45am)
• Plan for each session to last approximately 4 hours
• Dress for the weather, you will be outside
• Bring a helmet - helmets are REQUIRED to participate (ski, bike, construction, climbing are acceptable)

OEC Refresher - Sunday, October 15th

• Registration with NSP due no later than Friday, October 6^th
• Register on the NSP Center for Learning (instructions below)
• Complete the OEC Cycle A online learning - save your certificate, but no need to send it to anyone or bring a copy to the refresher
• Refresher starts promptly at 8am - sign-in will start at 7:15am - please arrive no later than 7:45am
• Bring your vest/pack, you will use your supplies
• Bring snacks and water/juice if you need them - we should wrap up around 1:00pm; no formal breaks
• Stations may be both inside and outside so dress for both situations

If you cannot attend either of these events, email Dick and Gretchen ASAP to talk about your options.

 CPR - New Cards Only

• If the expiration date on your CPR card is in 2023, you need a new card - Register on Homebase for one of the CPR sessions
• If the expiration date on your CPR card is in 2024 and you are attending our OEC refresher, do nothing, there is a CPR station at refresher

• Log on to the NSP Website
• Click on the “Center For Learning” box
• Click on the yellow “Browse Catalog” box
• Enter Cascade in the “Search Catalog” bar
• Select “2023 OEC Refresher Cycle A Skills” for Cascade Mountain
• Click “Enroll”
